We are an engineering consultancy offering advice and design services on renewable energy technologies and associated building services. As a spin off from our own investigation work we now also offer an ultrasonic flow and heat meter hire service.
When we began our renewable energy journey back in 2007 life was simpler. The drive was for the introduction of renewable energy and the Government's Feed in Tariff and generous RHI incentives made the finances stack-up. Client's could invest in renewable energy, achieve a reasonable rate of return and go "green" without having to worry too much about the detail.
The recent "waking up" to the climate emergency has brought things into sharper focus. It is quite obvious that with the scale of the task ahead of us, to reach net carbon zero by 2050, renewable energy schemes on their own will not be enough. Furthermore, the reduction in Government financial incentives now mean that renewable energy schemes must be carefully matched to work in harmony with the characteristics of the associated energy demand. The wrong scheme in the wrong place will not be successful in achieving either carbon reduction or financial benefit.
With a combined experience of over 50 years in renewable energy technologies we are well placed to provide the right advice on the systems themselves and, as importantly on the building services that they supply.
